Chapel Hill, NC – 14 June 2019 – Whitsell Innovations, Inc. presenting at Drug Information Association (DIA) 2019 Annual Meeting.

Robin Whitsell, Founder and President of Whitsell Innovations (WI), Inc. and member of the DIA Annual Program Committee, will be presenting at the Drug Information Association (DIA) 2019 Annual Meeting being held from June 23-27, 2019 in San Diego, California. Ms. Whitsell is participating and chairing three presentations during the course of 2019 DIA Meeting.

The first presentation is on Monday, June 24, 2:15-3:15 PM, entitled #153 How Storytelling, Images, and Engagement Can Wow Your Audience: Presentations with Punch!, which will focus on strategies to create more memorable presentations, draw in the audience, and hold its attention.

The second presentation is on Tuesday, June 25, 8:00-9:15 AM, entitled #207 Leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing in Medical Writing. Ms. Whitsell is chair of this session, which will define the language of artificial intelligence (AI), discuss the potential impact for AI in creation and re-use of medical content, detail the emerging technologies of AI in the writing space, and describe the challenges of developing a medical writing tool that uses AI.

The third session is on Wednesday, June 26, 4:15-5:30 PM, entitled #397 PowerUp: Stories of Career Transforming Moments. Ms. Whitsell is the session chair and a speaker. In this presentation, the speakers will share their stories of wrong directions, twists, detours, and happy accidents in their careers in the hopes of inspiring the audience to define and embrace Plan B or go find a Plan C.
