A Resource for Proper Terminology

A recent update to the American Medical Association (AMA) Manual of Style (11th Edition) includes guidance on the use of Inclusive Language (Section 11.12).

WI has created a resource to summarize this guidance in the areas of sex and gender, personal pronouns, race and ethnicity, age, socioeconomic status, persons with diseases, disorders, or disabilities, and sexual orientation.
